Are you a licensed mover?
The Best Move In Texas is a licensed carrier of household goods and registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TXDMV). Our USDOT number is 136463 and TXDMV number is 005289935C.
What are your prices?
The price for intrastate (within Texas and over 50 miles) and long-distance interstate (across state lines) moves are calculated by the weight of your belongings and the distance they are traveling. Additional charges may apply for extra trucks, crews, special needs, or storage. Local moves (within about 50 miles) are calculated by the number of men and trucks and the number of hours it will take to complete the move.
To get an idea of how much your move will cost please complete a free instant “ballpark” quote or give us a call at (800)-242-0124. The Best Move In Texas will provide a more precise estimate after assessing the actual items being packed and transported.
How long will my move take?
This depends on a number of factors including distance, time of year, and the size of your move. As a general estimate a local move can be completed in one day, an intrastate move within 2 - 4 days, and an interstate move within 3 - 10 days. Please give us a call at (800)-242-0124 to discuss any timing concerns regarding your move.
Are my items protected against loss or damage?
While we don’t plan for there to be any damage to your items during transit, in the rare event damage is incurred, The Best Move In Texas offers the following valuation options:
Basic mover’s liability of $.60 per pound, per article. This is a standard requirement for all licensed movers and is automatically provided. For example, if your 50 pound television is damaged during your move, The Best Move In Texas is liable for a maximum of $30.00 (50 lbs. X 0.60 = $30.00).
Full Value Protection (FVP)
As a reminder, valuation coverage is not the same as insurance. For any questions about your options please call (800)-242-0124.
